Stress-Free Remodeling Is Not A Myth Anymore
Don’t worry about hiring different contractors to do different jobs; we handle everything. From plumbing and heating to electrical work and beyond, we pride ourselves on being a one-stop basement renovation company.
How does that benefit me?
Working with a company that takes care of every aspect of the basement remodeling job is like going on an all-inclusive resort or cruise. Only better, because you end up in lovely finished basement and considerably increased your house value. It removes the stress of dealing and managing 3-5 different contractors (framing, insulation, electrician, plumber, HVAC, etc.) that can be very aggravating, believe me, I deal with plumbers and electricians on daily basis. We also take care of all the building permit applications and inspection requests, which is very time consuming since in most towns there’s only one inspector per department.
Why isn’t every contractor/company a one-stop renovation?
Well, simply because most do not have the resources to provide such services. A one-stop renovation company needs to have special agreements or keep trade contractors (electricians, plumbers, HVAC, etc) on payroll in order to get the work done in a timely manner. I “Fishing” around for trade contractors that can turn out to be very time consuming and its not guaranteed you will get the most qualified trade contractor. The most important part to keep in mind is the human factor, not all trade contractor can work together in harmony, and if the situation is not managed properly it can get ugly very fast.
How Can I Save Money?
If you are on a tight budget and don’t mid getting involved in the process, then there are a couple ways to save some cash.
- You can save $400 if you apply and get the building permit yourself. You will still get a copy of our insurance policies and license for your records.
- You can hire your own trade contractor (electrician, plumber, etc) if you know someone that can do the work or if your family member or friend is a licensed trade contractor.
- You can do some of the work yourself, for example painting, it can be a fun DIY project and can also save you a good chunk of money.
